Everything we do connects with one or more aspects of our mission statement.  It is used to evaluate everything we do as a church.  There are hundreds of things we could be doing -- but there are just a few in which God has told us to be involved.

We exist to GLORIFY GOD TOGETHER…

Romans 11:36 (ESV) For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.  To Him be glory forever.  Amen.

Ephesians 3:9, 21 (ESV) … and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, … 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.  Amen.

1 Peter 4:11 (ESV) … whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies - in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.  To Him belong glory and dominion forever and ever.  Amen.

Matthew 22:36-38 (ESV) [A religious leader asked] “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”  37 And He [Jesus] said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  38 This is the great and first commandment.

We exist to glorify God by loving God passionately, by LOVING PEOPLE SACRIFICIALLY…

We exist to glorify God by loving God passionately, by loving people sacrificially, and by MAKING DISCIPLES DELIBERATELY.

Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV) And Jesus came and said to them [His disciples], “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.  19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
